Did you guys watch the eclipse???
Isn't it kinda crazy that there hasn't been one quite like that one for over 100 years!
Well I ended up having a wicked bad migraine that day so I wasn't up
for heading to our waterfront to use our local astronomy clubs public viewing set-up...
but my honey did whip up two pin-hole camera boxes for us which did the trick,
so every 10 minutes or so I would run outside to watch.
I admit I was a little underwhelmed by the visuals,
mind you in our part of the world we only got 70% coverage
& at no point could we safely just look up.
What I loved though was that for those few hours, so many in the world were together
enjoying & concentrating on something magical instead of negative

and I just felt lucky to be there in those moments, no matter how painful, with my hon seeing it all.
