A Majestic River Guide

This was one of the best most beautiful paddles ever...

Herons live along a river that we kayak down often.  It's a river close to our home.

I am over the moon with these photos of our majestic river guide

& he's inspired my newest image which I'll show you tomorrow.

Marten Lake

We got out in our boats a lot before Min passed...after Min passed we just didn't feel like it.

This was a perfect day out on beautiful Marten lake, North of us, earlier on this summer...

It was one of those lovely meandering kind of paddles, one of those 'hey what's that over there" days.

I bobbed for a long while with binoculars (getting quite wave-sick!) watching a loon & her baby.

There is a most perfect lake just a 40 minute drive North from us...

it is here that we found a kindred spot with a little windswept island I could exist on I am quite sure.

 

 

I hate being away from the buns...but I sure do love being out on my magenta pink kayak

and I sure do adore the oh so handsome & strong beloved boy who lifts my kayak for me. Ahhhh.
