I really like this little bird...of course you know my favourit animal is the Poppy (I don't think she is classified as of yet but would most closely resemble a bunny)
Beautiful give away! My favorite animal, at the moment, is my Bichon Shizu dog. He allows us to live in this house :)
What a darling little drawing! My favorite animal--this is a tough one-so many cute and interesting animals to choose from-but-(I know it's trite) my little cairn terrier has the biggest brown eyes that just melt my heart. I have to choose him.
I love all animals, and ofcourse dogs are my favorite as far as a companion, they will sit in your lap even if they are too big, love you unconditionally....but my favorite non-pet animal would have to be a bird...I am intrigued by BIRDS....they are constant reminders to me of the cycle of life, the building the nest, the eggs, the nurturing, the teaching then learning to fly....ALL kinds of birds, mocking birds show up to me all the time, and recently cardinals.............love your art. CHarla
My favorite amimal is bunnies, then horses, parrots and cats.... I just cant narrow it down to just one kind! :)

My favorite animals are bunnies! I've loved rabbits since I was little and have had them as pets for as long. I love that they're soft and cute, but also really complex animals with great personalities!

I love this - how does a person pick a favorite? Although I am very partial to birds - especially hummingbirds. I could watch them all day. And dogs. And dragonflys - but those aren't really animals, but they are especially magical.
Oh to pick one favorite is so hard. Ravens, dragonflies, butterflies, hawks, herons...I guess things with wings. Thanks for the chance to win your precious artwork. My fingers are crossed.

Good luck w/your show! I know it will be perfect for your work is so inspiring how can it not! To pick one animal totally stressed me out and I think it would hurt my other animal friends feeling to pick one over the other - heehee. I am best friends with an orange cat named Max, love his sense of humor and that he asks for a daily massage (at least I think he does). I am also friends with an anxious Siamese named sammy who loves to have his paw held while lying on the coach. Vincent is a brown Burmese Cat who got his name from his nicked ear and is pure lover, not a fighter. His heaven would be to be petted 24/7 and still he'd accept more. I've never met an animal who radiates such love as he. All are rescues that somehow found their way into our home. I can't forget Cole, a rescue as well, whose big brown eyes are very expressive. No matter what i do, make homemade food, wheat free food, veggie diet, he always farts and smells up the room and I love him anyway. Cole is a bit odd, short like a corgi but long and stocky like a basset hound - what a mix. We should have named him happy because no matter what he always has a happy disposition, including when I picked him up one night on the street w/a rope buried in is neck. Whatever horrific abuse he suffered before coming home with us doesn't seem to affect him one bit! What a great heart. Also, can't forget the lovely birds, though my heart could never take caging one, we place feeders in the yard. This year we have a dove nesting above the backdoor, starlings on the side door and red headed house finches in the front. I LOVE IT! How can you choose just one? Best to you Mandy! xox stephey

Fav animal? That's a tough one...but my dad fostered in me a love and appreciation of birds, so I suppose my favorite might be the black-capped chickadee.

I love horses the very most of all. I think it's their grace and willingness to please and they fact they would do anything for us and yet could totally pound us into the ground if they wanted too.

Beautiful piece. If I had to pick a favorite animal it would be a tiger, Siberian to be specific. A close second is my spirit animal, although technically not an animal, the barn owl.

I really miss my Quaker Parakeet, but since I have 5 rescue dogs now, having a featherchild is out of the question. I have a jack russell terror (sic!), a bull dog mix, a beagle/basset mix, a huskie/lab mix and a boxer mix. Taken together, the dogs outweigh the people in the house!
I love all things furry and feathered. Reptiles, not so much....

they are mystical and smart and loving and stick with their own families which you can call "a murder of crows"(ive done a lot of studying on them)
some believe that the souls of loved ones that have passed live in them. I hope when my daddy passes he will visit me thru a crow when my jesus says he can visit. they are dark and mysterious and carry secrets.
Crazy how many animals can be one's favorite. At this moment in time I would have to say mine is the Lap Giraffe, not because it is on the commercial but just the thought of there being such a critter and it being small enough for me to hold, well, WOW, I mean to hold a giraffe in your arms, that would set my world on fire. It just makes me smile and wish there were Lap Giraffes and Lap Rhinos and Lap Bison.....how fun.

I find cats amazing..but I also love lambs, dogs, and giraffes. Recently I met a beautiful and cute bunny at my friend's house and now I think I want to have one of my own, but I have to wait, because i live with a cat and two dogs. Great piece of Art. Thanks for sharing!

Today my favorite animal is the blue heron. There's something about the patient waiting of the heron as she stands at the edge of the water watching for her dinner to swim by, something about the slow heavy sweep of this ancient bird's wings in the sky....
THere were herons long before there were people.
My favorite animal is my cat. He's weird, stubborn and refuses to listen. But he's always happy to see me, he gets insulted when I go away on business and leave him alone with my husband. He comes and sleeps with me at night and he covers me in cat purrs.
He's my little fur baby and I adore him, even when he's being a butt.

My favorite animal? Sea otters. Why? I don't know - I'm watching a show about them on Animal Planet and I never realized how smart and just cool they are.

My favourite animals are a tie between birds and cats. Cats I've loved all my life: I love their attitude and grace, and the way that they seem to so effortlessly blend into the shadows when it suits. But as I get older, it's birds. It brings a smile to my face to hear them singing just outside my door, or to watch them wheel and circle overhead.

There are so many animals I love, but I will try to limit it to just a couple.
For many years I would have said the cat, without hesitation. From birth I practically worshipped them. I've often tried to fathom why. They are elegant, majestic, and powerful, they can capture your heart without working too hard for it, and, (like a rabbit), make you earn their love. Unlike a dog, (nothing against dogs, I LOVE dogs, but,), dogs will live to love you no matter what. I think there's something respectable about a pet that makes you do something to earn that before they turn it over.
Of course, these days I must respond "rabbit." There are SO many things I love about rabbits, even if they destroy my apartment ;) Rabbits are fragile, delicate, graceful, yet silly and kidn of graceless at times. Their systems so delicate, and yet, at time, minds, bodies and spirits so marvelously resilient. Like cats, they "make you work for it." They are not distrustful, they are cautious, and rightfully so. And yet, once you break down that trust barrier, you have achieved something magical. You have undone thousands of years of instinct, telling that bunny not to let you anywhere near her. I find it truly incredible. I also feel that I will always keep pet rabbits from here on out, because there are too many making their way to death row at shelters or rescues, and too few qualified people seeking to adopt them. It's rewarding.
Also love the tortoise. Why? Not sure.
Lastly, the platypus and the hippopotamus for the same reason: They look kind of ridiculous but they are vicious and will kill you before you have time to run!
Dogs are my favorite because their eyes are so expressive (among other things). I would love to have my name thrown in the hat for this beauty.
