Oldie Thyme

I've been looking back on old holiday images I've done...

I think though they are old that they are still pretty darn sweet. I'll offer Xmas cards next season!

Simply Holidays

I worked a few holidays sketches even though I won't get colour to them until next season...
I don't have big plans for holidays this year, I just want to enjoy simple days and be happy.

So once I finished some custom pieces (that I unfortunately can't show you)
I decided to take my studio break a bit early to coincide with my honey's.

and I've been basking in a gorgeous guy who is so sweet and loving
and who cares for his bunnies like no one else, it's just so lovely to watch.

We've been settling in the two newbies and lavishing them with love...
and the other 7 so they don't get jealous...there's not enough time in a day that's for sure!

We're enjoying old tv like Buck Rogers, Wonder Woman & Thunderbirds with hot cocoas!
It's been nice & sweet & cozy...I hope your finding peace & warmth instead of stress too XO.

Christmas Gratitude

I think about other people & other families a lot at this time of year
not all of us are embraced by big beautiful families...
not everyone is all cozy and snug within holiday sparkle and cheer.
Some of us face the holidays with great sadness,
some will be saying goodbye to loved ones & will be facing a New Years all alone...
For me, it's important to remember that because it makes me so much more grateful
for the family that I do have and for the cheer and beauty that does surround me.

So as much as we miss Teela & Frenwyck, which is like mad,
(and as we watch dear ones spend this Christmas for the last time ever with their loved ones)
we're still feeling so so grateful & embraced by each other & for the long-eared family we've made,
it might not be a normal family in everyone else's books but for us it is and it's everything.
We're enjoying a house decked out in red ribbons, twinkle lights & poinsettias
and I am truly hoping so hard everyone out there finds kindness and beauty
and compassion and warmth in some lovely way or another, no matter how small.

Well I will be taking a blog break really soon...
but I hope you'll join me for the rest of the week until than
XOXO

Pink Xmas, Pink Heart

We were going to skip Christmas this year, because of Teela
but than we realized that wasn't very fair to the other sweet buns who like the sparkly lights etc.

So we got the studio tree up first, it's for Henrie, Elsie & Misa to gaze upon & dream under.

It's full of favorite ornaments and hand-made love, like this felt one from my friend Deb Dunn.

and this sweetness from my rabbit loving and creative pal Michelle from the Raspberry Rabbits...

(Henrie had to pop out of the blanket to supervise the decorating of course!)

and this gorgeouness from my animal loving kindred friend Natascha Rieper

life is hard...it knocks us down many many many times doesn't it, especially as you get older...

So you've gotta put up sweet pink trees, treat your pink heart kindly
& eat pretty macaroons with honeyed cocoas as often as possible!

A Sweet Pink Tree, Lovelies from Lovely bloggers & Two Thankful Buns

Elsie and Henrie and I LOVE love love our new sweet-as-can-be studio tree

It tickles me pink every time I walk into the room.

And we are sending out huge delightful thanks & cheer
to our two lovely blogging friends who sent us such beautiful goodies for the tree....

The lovely and talented Natascha Rieper send us this gorgeous beauty.
Look at her 2 beautiful buns on the card..awww...I LOVE it.

and the sweet and embracing Deb Dunn sent us this insanely cute & fun set of felt lovelies
and another handmade beautiful card.  So so so sweet, I love them.

I asked Henrie & Elsie what they wanted to send the lovely ladies in return

they choose this, my handmade rabbit felt goodies...

I have to thank my mom too for she gave me this bunny for Easter last year which I was able to add a string of sparkled snowflakes too and covert into the most perfect tree topper...

We look forward to adding new bunniful goodies to it in the coming seasons...

Thanks again for taking part in our ornament swap Debb & Natascha,
bigs hugs being sent your way from me and especially from Elsie & Henrie Biggens

A Tree For Elsie & Henrie?

This will be Elsie & Henrie Biggens very first Christmas with us.

And whilst the upstairs is always all decked out in holiday cheer,
this is the first year I need to decorate my downstairs studio space...
Since it's their first Christmas here, I want Elsie and Henrie to have a beautiful twinkling tree
all of their very own (hopefully a pink one to match my room, their eyes and their ears, ha ha).

I would put the tree up there on the little green desk to the left of their couch (see above)

So let me ask you...
Are you up for a ornament swap???????

A swap for these two awesome buns who were given away & spent almost 2 years in a shelter?

I think it would be SO lovely.
I would create and make a special ornament, something handmade & whimsical of course
that I would send to you and in turn you would send me something
that you have made to hang on their tree.

What do you think???
If anyone is interested do let me know and I'll begin work on my ornament right away...
and once it's all up and decorated I'll do a post for the tree and we'll list everyone who took part.

(I have to say rabbit-themed ornaments would be SO awesome, they are so hard to find in the stores!)

So yes, do let me know...
could be so much lovely fun, for me, for you and two big bunnies
who will be able to spend their first Christmas here gazing up and into a dazzling heartfelt tree.
