Hopes Of Shooting Stars & Magic Gardens

Here is another one that I had to put away for a long siesta that I just pulled back out to tackle again.

I don't know where she'll end up but I think it'll be with shooting stars, maybe in a magical garden!

Weekend Wishes

My precious muse Miss Misa and I are hoping that your having a beautiful weekend

& that wherever you are we hope you can feel Spring in the air & that your feeling full of hope XO.

Food Friday

Need an idea for dinner tonight or this weekend?

Give this mix a try...it's easy and tasty and healthy.

What we have here is a whack of things just thrown into a steamer

(We use or steamer pretty much every day, we couldn't do without it)

We threw in broccoli, spinach, potatoes and red & yellow peppers.

We also did a whole cauliflower which we than put that in the mixer to blend it up with butter (YUM)

and we quickly browned up some tempeh...

add some butter and salt to whatever you wish & voila, a mix of tastes and textures and yumminess.

Push or Put Away

Finally back on my desk this week...

A mixed media I started way too long ago!

I hope I make good progress on her this week cause I sure do think she's quite pretty so far.

Sometimes you gotta push past the uncertainty of a piece and keep plugging away

and sometimes you gotta put work away for a spell before you ruin it

and come back to it with a fresher attitude at a later time...such was the case with this one!

Fuzzy and Fustrating

We were hoping that our sweet newbie Miss Misa and the Biggens would be fast friends

and at first it was looking really good...
she was kissing them, they were kissing her, they were playing together...

We did bonding in a small neutral area, than when all that went well,
we moved the bonding sessions to a bigger neutral area and again it went splendidly...

After two weeks of this routine we felt like it was time to try things in their respective rooms,
well of course when Elsie realized what we were up to,
that we wanted Misa to share their room downstairs & vice versa,

Elsie started to get mean and what Elsie does, her brother Henrie does!
So now we don't know if they will ever accept her.  We'll try again in a bit.

Argh why oh why can't rabbits just get along!!!

A Message From Yuuji

Yuuji wanted us to say hello for him...

(poor little guy seem to have bad allergies to hay of all things! and he hates his meds!)

He reminds us to love fiercely & loyally because you never know when you'll lose your loved ones

(but he's a tough boy and would be making his girl Teela proud with his spirit & strength)

Food Friday

This is something we have often because it's easy and quick and feels healthy and light.

(and yes we usually have Matcha tea with honey whenever we have rice, they just go hand & hand)

We take brown rice (which I cook the crap out of because I hate hard rice) & once cooked

we fry it in some olive oil with mushrooms and green onions and with a bit of napa cabbage

and I love to add in thinly sliced radishes for a bit of crunch and kick & also lots of sunflower seeds.

A Rabbit One

I am working on the 2nd and 3rd designs to go along with my image "Autumnal Dance"

This is going to be the rabbit one and I think I'll do a fox for the third design, what do you think?

Fluffy Puffy White

Sometimes I think about moving to a place where the weather isn't so crazy...

around here, especially in the Spring and Fall season, we can see a 20 degree shift within 24 hours easily, which is hard on the head pain because the barometric pressure is our biggest trigger.

But both my honey and I know that we'd desperately miss the beauty of winter...

especially those mornings when you run out and gasp in pure delight at the freshly fallen snow...

or have fun with your Dad cause he came over to help ya get out from over a foot of snow, ha ha.

Winter White

We've been enjoying the solitude and whiteness of winter immensely...

There's something quiet about winter, there actually seems more time to take in the pretty stuff...

We often like to randomly pick a direction & just explore...this particular day,

we found the road eventually giving way to a frozen lake & snow covered forest....loveliness!
