I pride myself on making my art prints as super easy

Holiday Shopping

I just wanted to let you know here on the blog that whiles the buns & I

are going to be taking a social media and studio break for the holidays,

my Etsy shop remains open for you all holiday season...I hope you'll take a peek

as there's much vivid, colorful & happy artwork to inspire you & your walls.

You can place your orders as usual etc there will be no disruptions in that

however we won't be shipping anything out until January 3rd or a couple days after that.

We need a break now and than too after all ha ha and I think this year we deserve one more

than ever before as we had to be extra tenacious in body and spirit throughout 2017.  Cheers XO

Wee Wings 2

I just finished up this a wee little guy

He's a tiny 3 x 3 inches and coloured pencil and paint on a cute little canvas board.

He's already flown into my shop if your interested in him & he's only $30.

My fingers itch to crochet and I promise myself time to try out some new hats...

I am ready to get my hands busy with a fabulous antique chest I just adopted from my parents...

One of the jazz groups we saw at the recent jazz festival so kindly offered us free tickets to a show...

and we just got our tickets to see 'Lake of Stew', a great bluegrass-ish group from Montreal...

I feel relaxed to know theres atleast 2 more months of long outside days/evenings with my babies...

and my honey is finally starting his summer holidays.

Treasuries & Collections Making A Gal Giddy

I've been getting so many notes from fellow Etsians & ArtFire Peeps, saying they've featured my work in their treasuries and collections...it's a thrill to my heart & creative day whenever I get one of these messages.

Here I am 3rd column over, 2nd down...one of my Beautiful Birds.

 Here it's my Art Nouveau inspired swans 'My Love, My Heart', 2nd column over 2nd down.

Here it's 'Bodhi The Elephant', 1st column 1st one. 

 In this one it was my beloved 'Prenella The Swan', 2nd column, 2nd one down.

And In this one it was one of my Funky Fish, 2nd column over, 2nd down.

 Here it's another of my Funky Fish, 1st column 4th one down.

And here it's one of my illustrations called 'State of Mind', 3rd column 2nd one down. 

There have already been quite a few for February, I'll show you those soon...it's so lovely to see my work amongst other talent...and I do think my work tends to stand out which I feel proud of.  That means all of my hard work to cultivate & nurture my own style is working.

Just wanted to share something that was making my creative heart giddy...

Hope your having a super cozy Sunday...we are, it's been nothing but sleeping in, drawing, food & movies, reading & pampering myself because I have abit of a cold at the moment, all in a house full of sleeping bunnies with abit of a snow storm going on outside....ahhhh cozy indeed.

You Tube Watercolour Up For Grabs

Hi everyone, sorry for missing Monday's post, after a busy weekend with some jurying work, a return of Septembers nasty cold, working the gallery, meetings and a sore head I just wasn't up to composing anything new but I am back again feeling good and really looking forward to a full productive day in my studio. 

Today I wanted to show you the little watercolour that I created in my first You Tube Video...it's a sweet little 5 x7 piece...

This piece is one of a kind, will slide into any of your favourite 5 x 7 frames or mats...and it's up for grabs in my Etsy Shop for anyone interested in purchasing it...

It's companion was just sold but I think this piece stands just as nicely all on it's own.

There, now with this post done and the bunnies all fed, I am off to pop Practical Magic into the dvd player, brew up some cappuccino and get to my easel for a day of painting, than at 4ish I'll hop my little butt into the kitchen to whip up a lasagna for my sweet man and than enjoy an evening of Pysch episodes (which is my favourite show right now) and some felt star stitching (which I'll show you soon)...that's the plan anyhow!
