 I finished my "Cosmic Fox"...she's just plain old archival ink pen on sketchpaper...

I am pretty sure she's going to be going on some t-shirts soon, that's exciting.

Jaks Jelly Bean

I finally finished up the portrait of Jaks Jelly Bean...I am pretty content with it.

I just have to clean up the scan & then I'll be seeing what Society6 products it looks good on.

Cozy With Green

Jelly Bean In Lines

I just wanted to show you a bit more progress on Jelly Beans portrait...

I am bouncing around between a few ink drawings lately so it's taking a bit.

Henrie's Ink Portrait

As many rabbits as I usually draw,

I don't actually draw my buns all that often, not their portraits anyhow

Well I've been craving to draw them more so here is how Henrie's ink portrait turned out.

I will be adding a portraiture page to my new website & I am excited about that.

A New Ink Pen

Here's my newest ink pen drawing...he's a small one at only 4 x 6".

I did him on Sa paper which is a really textured handmade paper...I love him...

but I think I'll stick to my usual super bright white smooth papers...

you have to experiment now and than with papers and mediums though to keep things fresh.

Prints of him will be in the shop soonish.

Aside from lots of sketching

I've been diving back into work with my ink pens.

It's the perfect thing to curl up with when having to rest my head from the couch or bed.

A New Owl Inkling

I took the owl drawing that I offered to my subscribers

as a colouring page a few months back and started inking him.

I was going to do him in watercolour (heck maybe I still will)

but my gut told me to leave out the colour, for now, and tackle him in ink pen

and I am glad I listened (because I haven't been listening to my gut & I've gone array!)

 

He's looking pretty great so far if I may say so myself and I can't wait to show you.

I've been working my way up in size with my ink pens...this one is 8 x 10"

I am hoping to get up to atleast 12 x 16" designs, but we'll see, they are very time consuming.

I am planning on offering limited edition hand-coloured prints of my ink drawing this year...

I am still playing around with them however because they have to be perfect before I offer them up.

Just 1 More For A Bit I Think

I am going to finish this rabbit inkling up & than I'll get back to some colour work for a bit, I think.

It's been a nice long 'break' working with black & white and I'll no doubt come back around to it...

 

 

but for awhile now I've had this buzzing happening in my body...

It's a buzz that's fluttering around constantly wanting some paper doll, watercolours & stitchery play!
