Teela's Portrait

I revisited the portrait I did of Teela.

There was something about it that felt unfinished and I realized what was needed...

She needed some of the pink & purple from the background.  Now I am in complete love with it.

This one is just for me.  I don't know if I'll be offering prints etc or not, we'll see.

Tulip & Bunny

I am excited about this new image

but I am suddenly really disliking the paper so I am also anxious to finish it!

This little leaping bunny on the top is suppose to be Miss Misa Adora.

I am hoping to finish it up next week but we'll see how my pain levels are.

Spring Waltz

Hey guys, sorry to be absent again, I've been sooooo sick

and I am still sick so I'll just pop in quickly with a new image I've been anxious to show you...

But first, back to my doctor ordered bedrest!

Froggie Time

I looked at my colours and than at Miss Misa and I asked them

'What shall we create today lovelies?'

and the pencils said "something in green and blue" and Misa said "A Frog Mama"

So a frog we are now working on...in between 5 or 6 other images of course!

Shimmering Rabbity Sweetness

This has been what my desk upstairs looks like, full of little beauties getting their finishing touches.

I love this part...applying varnishes, clean edges, titling, adding sparkles, attaching hangers etc.

As I was telling you in one of my last posts, I work all over the house to get work done whiles I

spend time with all of our 9 rescue buns so I work on quite a few pieces all at the same time...

For a spell it seems like I am getting nothing new done and than all of the sudden bam a whack

are finished and lovely and whimsical and shimmering with good happy rabbity mojo, ha ha!

I don't get photos of how people live with my work very often so I am soooo tinkled pink

with these shots, if I may say so myself, my prints looks awesome in her whimsical bathroom.

Awesome, Hard, Sweet & Cute

We had such an awesome long weekend.

We mostly stayed indoors because we reached the freezing -40's....brrrr!

It was crappy at the same time  too though because
we both had really bad migraines & headaches for 3 days straight.

 

 

Anyhow, I was working on these two beauties this morning...
usually I work in the living room in the mornings, as I wake up, eat my breakfast,

drink my soy espresso and keep company with the cutest work-mate ever! Flynn.

How adorable is that face of his, omg!

 

 

So far the head-pain is gone today, so far! So I as I work away
'Father of the Bride' movies play in the background.
I think it's going to be a productive day.

Emmett Inspired

Well my morning started off with the tricky business of getting a plump grey squirrel

unstuck from the chimney & than out of the house!

Than I finished off this new ink drawing...

this one was inspired by our Min Min (aka Emmett)

 

 

I'll let you know when it's available in the shop.

Today I am working on another fish inkling in black & white and also on a goat in coloured pencil...

I have to work hard this week to keep up with an important deadline...more on that later!
